The Maracot Deep is a science fiction novella by Arthur Conan Doyle about the discovery of a sunken city of Atlantis by a team of explorers led by Professor Maracot.
The novel was first serialized in The Strand Magazine from October 1927 to February 1928, then continued as The Lord of the Dark Face, from April to May 1929. The novella was published as part of the collection The Maracot Deep and Other Stories on 29 July 1929.
