| Notes | Legion is a horror novel by William Peter Blatty, first published in 1983. It's a sequel to his 1971 bestseller The Exorcist. Originally conceived as a movie plot (inspired by his disapprobation of "Exorcist II: The Heretic", the sequel to the previous novels movie adaption), Blatty decided to write it as a novel when the project got stuck in development. At long last, the novel was made into a movie (titled "The Exorcist III") in 1990, written and directed by Blatty himself. |
