The book is the fourth (out of six) in the Universal Horror Library (UK editions as The Classic Library of Horror), which was published 1977 / 1978 under the pen name Carl Dreadstone, each including an introduction by Ramsey Campbell.
Three of the books were written by Mr. Campbell himself, two of the others by Walter Harris, only the identity of the author of The Mummy remains unsolved. |
