Le sursis (English: The Reprieve) is a novel by Jean-Paul Sartre, first published in 1945. It is the second book in the trilogy Les Chemins de la liberté (English: The Roads to Freedom). It concerns life in France during the eight days before the signing of the Munich Agreement and the subsequent takeover of Czechoslovakia in September 1938.
