Notes"The Under Dog" is a short story by Agatha Christie, first published in Mystery Magazine, April 1, 1926. It was later published in the UK in the October 1926 edition of The London Magazine and then in book form in 2 New Crime Stories, published by The Reader's Library in September 1929. The story was included in the collections The Under Dog and Other Stories (1951, and The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding and a Selection of Entrées (1960). The story features the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.
