The story features the fictional <a href="/c/books/credit/455104/ellery-queen-2/">Ellery Queen</a>, who gets hold of a rediscovered journal by Dr. Watson (assistant and chronicler of <a href="/c/books/credit/73995/sherlock-holmes/">Sherlock Holmes</a>), about their investigations on the <a href="/c/books/credit/206619/jack-the-ripper/">Jack the Ripper</a> killings.
The Dr. Watson part of the book was ghostwritten by Paul W. Fairman and is based on the 1965 movie A Study in Terror, directed by James Hill, screenplay by Donald Ford & Derek Ford. |
