A Study in Terror is a mystery novel by Ellery Queen, first published in 1966.
The story features the fictional Ellery Queen, who gets hold of a rediscovered journal by Dr. Watson (assistant and chronicler of Sherlock Holmes), about their investigations on the Jack the Ripper killings.
The Dr. Watson part of the book was ghostwritten by Paul W. Fairman and is based on the 1965 movie A Study in Terror, directed by James Hill, screenplay by Donald Ford & Derek Ford.
