The Weapon Shops of Isher is a science fiction novel by A. E. van Vogt, first published in 1951. The novel is a fix-up created from three previously published short stories:
• "The Seesaw" - first published in first published in Astounding Science Fiction, July 1941
• "The Weapon Shop" - first published in Astounding Science Fiction, December 1942
• "The Weapon Shops of Isher" - first published in Thrilling Wonder Stories, February 1949
The prologue and interlude are a modified version of "The Seesaw"; chapters 1-3, 15-19, and 30 consist of entirely of "The Weapon" Shop; chapters 4-13, 20-28, and 31 consist entirely of "The Weapon Shops of Isher"; chapters 14 and 29 consist of new linking material.
