| Notes | Novelization of the movie of the same name, directed by David Hogan, starring Pamela Anderson Lee, based on the Dark Horse comic book series, created by Chris Warner.
The book is based on an early draft of the screenplay, credited to Chuck Pfarrer and Adam Rifkin. The references to "Casablanca" are toned down in this version and it misses all scenes of the movie, that are focussed on the implanted talents of Pamela Anderson.
Rifkin, who was supposed to direct the movie but was fired after a few days of shooting over a disput between Dark Horse (who hired him) and Polygram (who wanted Hogan as director), is not mentioned in the movie credits. Ilene Chaiken, who is listed in the credits for story and, along with Pfarrer, as screenwriter, is not mentioned in the book. |
