Heimsljós (World Light) is a novel by Halldór Laxness which was published in four parts from 1937-1940, but the complete version of the novel first appeared in 1955. The book is divided into:
1. Ljós heimsins (The Light of the World)
2. Höll sumarlandssins (The Palace of the Summer Land)
3. Hús skáldsins (The House of the Poet)
4. Fegurð himinsins (The Beauty of Heaven)
