Time is the Simplest Thing is a science fiction novel by Clifford D. Simak, first serialized in four parts under the title "The Fisherman" in Analog Analog Science Fact -> Fiction, from April to July 1961. It was later published in book form as Time is the Simplest Thing in May 1961.
