Inverted World (The Inverted World in some editions) is a science fiction novel by Christopher Priest, first serialized in four parts in Galaxy, from December 1973 to March 1974. It was later published in book form in 1974.
The novel was expanded from a short story by the same name included in New Writings in SF 22 (1973).
