| Notes | Troubles is a 1970 novel by J. G. Farrell. It is the first book in the Empire Trilogy, which deals with the political and human consequences of British colonial rule. It won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize and in 2010 was awarded the Lost Man Booker Prize, which retrospectively gave it the Booker Prize for 1970. |
