| Notes | Novelization of the 1978 American movie of the same title, based on a screenplay by <a href="https://ctlgs.org/c/books/credit/308255/howard-sackler/">Howard Sackler</a> and <a href="https://ctlgs.org/c/books/credit/308256/dorothy-tristan/">Dorothy Tristan</a>, inspired by <a href="https://ctlgs.org/c/books/credit/223237/peter-benchley/">Peter Benchley's</a> <a href="https://ctlgs.org/c/books/book/403839/jaws/">Jaws</a>.
The filming script was revised so heavily (by <a href="https://ctlgs.org/c/books/credit/47530/carl-gottlieb/">Carl Gottlieb</a>) that the movie's credits don't list Tristan anymore, only Sackler and Gottlieb (and Benchley). |
