Edmundo Desnoes (born: Havana, Cuba, 1930), is a Cuban writer, author of the novel Memorias del subdesarrollo (Memories of Underdevelopment), a complex story depicting the alienation of a Cuban bourgeois struggling to adapt to the process of the Revolution.
