Bildschriften-Verlag Abt. Williams

Bildschriften-Verlag (BSV, not to be confused with BSV [Burgschmiet Verlag]) was a German publishing house mainly for comics, founded 1956. Williams was a label created by Warner Bros., to distribute their comics in Europe uniformly. As Time Warner already owned BSV, the whole company was renamed to Williams Verlag, after a short time of crediting 'Bildschriften-Verlag Abt. Williams' (Bildschriften-Verlag, Williams section).
