Chiswick Press
British printing company, it was incorporated as Chiswick Press, Ltd. some time prior to 1935. Founded by Charles Whittingham (1767-1840), it was taken over by his namesake and nephew Charles Whittingham (1795-1876) in 1840. Also credited as using the press are Whittingham and Wilkins (c1860), Charles Whittingham and Co (1880s to early 1900s), Charles Whittingham and Griggs (Printers), Ltd. (1920s-1930s). These printers also worked from Tooks Court in London.
