William Bradford

English separatist religious leader who sailed on the 'Mayflower' in 1620 and eventually became governor of the Plymouth settlement. Bradford kept a journal of the history of the early life (1620-1646) in Plymouth Colony, which was published as "Of Plymouth Plantation".
