E.S. Beavor

Eric Stanley Beavor Railway engineer. Started as a premium apprentice at LNER Doncaster Works on 28 August 1936 when aged sixteen. Served in Royel Electrical & Mechanical Engineers during WWII. Subsequent appointments included Chairman of the Shed Analysis Committee, Locomotive Shed Master variously at Staveley, Woodford, Neasden and Exmouth Junction. http://www.steamindex.com/people/beavor.htm
