Dino Buzzati

Dino Buzzati-Traverso (Italian pronunciation: [ˈdino butˈtsati]; 14 October 1906 – 28 January 1972) was an Italian novelist, short story writer, painter and poet, as well as a journalist for Corriere della Sera.
