Tom Blau
"A Hungarian born in Berlin, Tom Blau came to London in 1935 where he was resident for the rest of his life. Making a living as a professional photographer, he travelled the world on commissions, photographing the famous and eminent - people like John Lennon and Peter Sellers, Henry Kissinger and Richard Nixon, John Wayne and Joan Collins. "In 1947 he founded Camera Press to represent and sell his images as well as those of other famous photographers including Snowdon, Karsh and Cecil Beaton."
