Fielden Hughes
George Fielden Hughes, born 1903 A schoolmaster who became a wartime broadcaster, novelist and ebullient literary gent. Taught at Eggar's Grammar School, Alton, and King's College School, Wimbledon. Father of David Hughes (27 July 1930 – 11 April 2005), an Anglo-Welsh novelist.
