Vladimir Ivanovich Nemirovich-Danchenko (1858 – 1943) Russian and Soviet theatre director, writer, pedagogue, playwright, producer and theatre administrator, who founded the Moscow Art Theatre with his colleague, Konstantin Stanislavski, in 1898.
