David Nobbs

David Gordon Nobbs was an English comedy writer. He is known for writing the 1970s television series The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, which he adapted from his own novels featuring the character Reginald Perrin. He also wrote a series of four novels featuring the character Henry Pratt.
