Hernán Poblete Varas

A novelist, essayist, literary critic and university lecturer, was Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universidad Austral de Chile in Valdivia. Contributor and columnist in various newspapers as "The Third" Santiago and "Mercury" Santiago, mainly in the "Review of Books". Among his works is noteworthy, Rosenthal, Tales (1965), Game of blood, novel (1973), Namura illuminated, Tales (1980) and The Shadow of the victimizer, novel (1990). Outside of his own creation and its work as antologador of some notable poets such as Oscar Castro (1952) and Julio Barrenechea (1984).
