Factory Records

Factory Records was a Manchester-based British independent record label, started in 1978 by Tony Wilson and Alan Erasmus. Factory Communications Ltd, the company formed in 1981, declared bankruptcy in November 1992. The video arm of the label was called IKON. The label also operated a venue: The Haçienda.
