Paperback series of scientific textbooks, published by various publishers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, under the umbrella of UTB GmbH, a joint venture which was founded specifically for this purpose. In the beginning, most editions were reissues of previous hardback publications, with an ever-increasing share of original editions and first prints, which now account for more than 90% of the titles.
