Akinwande Oluwole ‟Wole” Babatunde Soyinka (Yoruba: Akinwándé Oluwo̩lé Babátúndé S̩óyinká) is a Nigerian playwright and poet. He was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature.
