Clara Ward
Daughter and heiress of American shipping and lumber tycoon Eber Brock Ward who in 1890 (aged 17) married Prince Joseph de Caraman-Chimay of Belgium, becoming Princesse de Caraman-Chimay. Since her marriage (the first one of many) her exploits attracted a lot of attention in the late Victorian press. Born: 17 June 1873 in Detroit, Michigan Died: 9 December 1916 in Padua, Italy
