Graciela Bello is an Argentine contemporary artist, who lives and works in Buenos Aires. She has painted ever since she was a little girl. In the 1980s, she attended several art workshops (painting, drawing, engraving, photography and airbrushing). Also, she took courses in History of Art, Aesthetics and Philosophy. Seminars: Creativity and Contemporary Art. She has worked in textile designs and stamps. In 1992 she decided to exhibit her work. From then on, she has taken part in 270 exhibitions (solo and group shows), Art fairs (in Argentina and abroad) and 28 Gallery Nights. Her artworks were selected in juried exhibitions, where she has been awarded several prizes and honor mentions. She has exhibited in USA, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Panama. Her works are shown in some museums, institutions, private and public schools, historic buildings, and are also part of private collections both in Argentina and abroad: Spain, Italy, Mexico, Dominican Republic and USA ( New York, Washington DC, Houston). Many of her paintings were used as covers (novels and poetry books, music albums and magazines). Oxford University Press (UK) and Editions Hatier (France) chose some of her works for educational books.
