The University of Iowa
The University of Iowa (also known as the UI, U of I, UIowa, or simply Iowa) is an American flagship public research university in Iowa City, Iowa. Founded in 1847, it is the oldest university in the state. Iowa is the second largest university in the state of Iowa, behind Iowa State University.
