Andrei Bely

Andrei Bely (Russian: Андрей Белый) was the pen name of Boris Nikolaevich Bugaev (Russian: Борис Николаевич Бугаев), a Russian novelist, poet, theorist, and literary critic. Born in Moscow to a noble (pre-revolutionary social rank) family; his father was a well-known mathematics professor and the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Moscow.
