Felix Meiner Verlag GmbH

In 1911, with the takeover of the Philosophical Library of Dr. med. Felix Meiner (1883-1965) founded in Leipzig, the publisher has since pursued a purely humanistic program. Headquartered in Hamburg since 1951, the publishing house is now family-owned under the direction of Manfred Meiner and his sons Jakob and Johann Meiner in their third and fourth generations. In 1992 Helmut Buske Verlag (www.buske.de), which specializes in textbooks and dictionaries on foreign languages, was acquired.
