Tundra Books

Tundra Books is a Canadian children's book publisher founded in 1967 by May Cutler, a Montreal-based writer and editor. The United States division of the company, Tundra Books of Northern New York, was founded in 1971. In the mid-1980s Tundra Books was sold to McClelland & Stewart. The company is now part of Penguin Random House Canada which is wholly owned by Bertelsmann.
