Tyrus Books

American publishing house originally established by Ben LeRoy and Alison Dasho (née Janssen) in fall 2009 in Madison, Wisconsin. Dasho left Tyrus in 2010. In April 2011, Tyrus was acquired by F+W and made an imprint of Adams Media. F+W also hired LeRoy as publisher and community leader, F+W Crime. Simon & Schuster acquired Tyrus Books in November 2016, when it bought Adams Media from F+W. In April 2017 LeRoy announced that Simon & Schuster has shut down Tyrus Books on 7 April 2017.
