The Deepgate Codex

The Deepgate Codex is a series of novels by Alan Campbell set in a Steampunk fantasy world. It gets it's name from the setting of the first novel, Scar Night, in which the city of Deepgate is suspended by chains over a vast abyss. At the bottom of the abyss dwells Ulcis, the fallen god, who collects the souls fed to him by the priests of Deepgate to forge a new army of the dead The series consists of the main trilogy: Scar Night Iron Angel God Of Clocks And two novellas: Lye Street Damnation For Beginners
