American photographer born c1949. In the late 2000s he also co-founded Radical Studios, with the idea to create new comic books, own the intellectual property and license the stories to Hollywood. He spent the 1970s and 1980s as a rock photographer, chronicling the likes of Queen, Kiss, Abba, the Sex Pistols and Mötley Crüe.
No relation to the Albany, New York based Barry Z. Levine (often credited as just Barry Levine) who was credited with photography at the 1969 Woodstock Festival. He now works with the Brunswick Institute.
