American music writer and record company executive. Originally based in Boston, he was editor of the hardcore-punk fanzine xXx in the 1980s. He later went into A&R, working for record labels such as Century Media (where he’s currently VP, A&R), Razor & Tie, Roadrunner, Atlantic.
