Steven R. Nickerson

Steven R. Nickerson (born 1958 – died June 8, 2013) was a photojournalist, World Press Award recipient, and part of a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning news staff. He worked for the Rocky Mountain News and prior to that, the Detroit Free Press. In January of 2004, Steven was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, Systemic Sclerosis (Scleroderma).
