Alan G. Yates

Alan Geoffrey Yates was an English-born Australian writer of detective fiction. Born in England, Alan Yates married and settled in Australia in 1948. He used the pseudonym Carter Brown which began as Peter Carter Brown, but Peter was dropped for the US market. He also wrote westerns under the pseudonym Todd Conway, science fiction under the pseudonym Paul Valdez and other books under various versions of his own name as well as the pseudonyms of Dennis Sinclair and Sinclair MacKellar.
