Laura Serra

Laura Serra is the main Italian translator of the cycle of the Galactic Guide for Hitchhikers by Douglas Adams and some works by Isaac Asimov. In 1976 he published the collection of short stories Prefante for the Rebellato Editore. He wrote short stories for the sci-fi monthly Omni and the magazines Robot and Aliens. From 1978 to 1983, she worked as a translator for the Urania series of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore. He also edited for the following decade the editing and translation of articles for Panorama, L'Europeo, Epoca, Il Mondo and other publications and then returned to the work of essay and fiction translator in the 1990s.
