Audion Magazine was established in 1986 by prog and experimental music enthusiasts Alan & Steve Freeman. With 58 issues (and other publications) it has a reputation for its different stance on modern music. Genres covered: progressive rock, jazz-rock/fusion, electronic music, avant-garde, Euro-rock, Krautrock, Canterbury Scene, Rock in Opposition, Zeuhl, etc. Audion is also the publisher of "The Crack In The Cosmic Egg" encyclopedia of Krautrock, Kosmische Musik & other progressive, experimental & electronic musics from Germany.
