Russ Gibb

‟Uncle” Russ Gibb (born 1931) is an American former concert promoter and media personality from Dearborn, Michigan. He is known for his role in the Paul is Dead phenomenon, a story he broke while a disc jockey on radio station WKNR-FM in Detroit, Michigan. Gibb also operated Detroit’s Grande Ballroom and was a major player in the Detroit music scene during the late ’60s and early ’70s.
