Artist and author.
Michael Cardew (1901-1983) was a British potter who worked at the Leach Pottery with Bernard Leach and later took over Winchcombe Pottery and then Wenford Bridge Pottery.
He worked and taught in Ghana (1942-1948) and Northern Nigeria (1951-1965).
