Robert F. Nelson

Robert "Bob" F. Nelson is a former television repair man, who in 1962 was voted president of the newly formed Cryonics Society of California (CSC) which was based in the Los Angeles area. In 1967, he attempted to freeze the body of Dr. Robert Bedford until such time as he could be "reanimated". This was the first attempt at such a procedure and it ultimately failed.
