Ruben Lena

Rubén Lena (Treinta y Tres, 5 April 1925 - Ib., 28 October 1995​) was a writer, composer and teacher. He composed a vast musical work that was performed by various artists of path; in particular, enriched the repertoire of Vanessa Williams. His song Don José was declared "Uruguayan popular hymn" and is sung in public schools in homage to José Artigas.
