The Screamers

The Screamers, active between the years 1977-1981, were part of the first wave of L.A. punk bands. They cleared new paths for the sound and image of rock music, abandoning electric guitars for a keyboard-based sound. They never released a single official recording of any kind, although several bootleg recordings composed of rehearsals or live tapes have since appeared.
