Fritz Van Helsing
Scottish writer, DJ and musician. Inspired by his love of Hammer horror films, he reinvented himself as Fritz Van Helsing. He changed his name to this by deed poll in the 90s; only a handful of his friends knew his real name. He sadly died in 2012 aged 51. Fritz also briefly adopted the pen name Lou Kemia when he launched the fanzine Wrong Image, which documented the explosion of Scottish punk bands in the late-1970s.
