Ric Menck

American music writer, drummer, guitarist and record label owner. Originally from Chicago where he formed the groups The Springfields and Choo Choo Train with Paul Chastain in the mid-late 1980s. They then formed Velvet Crush and both moved to Providence, Rhode Island c1990. He then relocated to Los Angeles where he ran the record labels Bird Song Recordings and Reaction Recordings (part of the Parasol Label Group), he also worked at a record store called Freak Beat and work as a music writer.
