Metropolitan Home

Metropolitan Home is an American magazine published by Hearst Magazines. The magazine was launched in 1974 by the Meredith Corporation as Apartment Life. In 1981, the magazine was rebranded as Metropolitan Home. In 1992, the magazine was acquired by Hachette Publications. The first issue under Hachette Publications appeared in January 1993. Metropolitan Home was published monthly until January 1993, then it was published bi-monthly. The December 2009 issue of Metropolitan Home was the last issue published by Hachette. In 2016, Hearst Magazines resurrected the brand name.
