Margareta Deschner

Finnish translator, freelance journalist, and teacher who moved to the United States in 1949. After residing in New Jersey, she and her family moved to Switzerland, and from there to Dallas. She first taught German and French at Arlington State College (now the University of Texas at Arlington) before becoming part of the staff at Southern Methodist University in 1963.
